VTU claim for minimum standards for owner drivers 2023

All work to be paid at Government rate, rate to be adjusted annually

Current government rates

Tandem: $102.26

Truck and trailer: $148.03

Quads: $161.13

Contract rates to be targeted at

1. Tandem: $1200 + GST per day to the truck owner
2. Truck and trailers: $2000 + GST to the truck owner
3. Quads: $2500 + GST to the truck owner

8-hour minimum to be paid Monday through Friday with a 6-hour minimum on Saturday

Minimum hire to be paid on contract jobs where the client runs out of material
